We Know Compaction
Weber MT started in North America with a master distributor in Bangor, Maine. After several years of continued growth the company decided to incorporate in the US and placed a subsidiary in Bangor in 1991.
In the late nineties Weber MT shifted direction to focus solely on walk-behind compaction equipment and become a market leader. In a few short years the complete line of forward and reversible plates were transformed into the CF and CR series.
With this new business model and innovative products like COMPATROL® the company has set the standard in walk-behind compaction. Apart from added warehouses throughout Canada and the United States to better serve the North American market, its headquarters was also moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2018. Weber MT services the market with select dealers, and manufacturer representatives are available for product demos and service.

Weber MT (Weber Maschinentechnik GmbH) specializes in making hand-guided compacting equipment. Founded in 1952, our family business is now managed by the third generation with ardent passion for technology and a deep commitment to superior quality. We owe our success and the long years of customer confidence in no small part to our innovative prowess and dependability.
Our company headquarters in Bad Laasphe (Germany) is the point of contact and home for 200 expertly trained specialists world-wide working in administration, product development, manufacturing, sales, and service. These employees are very special as they are paramount to the success of our company.
The key factors for the long-term success of any business are quality, know-how and customer service. Our cooperation as partners with customers and suppliers has put us in a position to develop highly advanced and innovative machines and technologies while striving to optimize them in an ongoing basis.
Digital solutions designed to enhance the safety of the machines and ease the daily workload on countless construction sites round off Weber MT’s product selection. What is more, 10 % of our German workforce specialize in product development.
This allows us to offer machines for the construction industry that are efficient, robust and on the cutting edge.
To satisfy the specific requirements of our customers, we manufacture our products at state-of-the-art production facilities and in accordance with standardized quality specifications.
Boasting many years of experience, our specialists in after-sales service are there for our customers even after they have made their purchase. At Weber MT, we strive for streamlined efficiency from process to product. Nevertheless, our expectations as well as our products and services go well beyond the standard – and they continue to rise at every stage reached.
It goes without saying that we stay in compliance with all regulations that we are obligated to observe by law. These regulations include rules on occupational health and safety, environmental regulations, customs and export regulations as well as documentation requirements or the requirement to observe conformity regulations, etc. At our company, we have made compliance with these requirements mandatory.
No one can remain successful over the long run unless they supply their customers with excellent products for their hard-earned money. Whether a product or service possesses exceptional quality ultimately hinges on the know-how of the developer and manufacturer of the products. Quality and conduct in line with moral values are usually not the result of a comprehensive code of conduct. Rather, they are the product of an appropriate mindset and professional skills.

Sustainability
We will act according to the principle of ecological sustainability wherever and whenever we can do so. Indirectly, we will do so whenever we select a new supplier or opt for drive motors whose manufacturers subscribe to principles of ecological sustainability. And, we foster sustainability directly by such measures as selecting environmentally friendly paints for our products or opting for a heat recovery system in certain parts of the company.
Moreover, our powerful and efficient products make it possible to complete compaction operations on soil or pavers in a short period of time. Finally, technical equipment such as our compaction control system COMPATROL® helps reduce the number of redundant compacting runs. Both examples illustrate ways to lower fuel consumption and the emission of pollutants in the corresponding machines.
